Hi, I'm Marielle van Essen.
After running my own law firms for 20 years, I made a complete career change four years ago and—following intensive training—opened an interior design studio.
Interior design for individuals and businesses
In this capacity, I’ve since had the privilege of helping numerous individuals and business owners elevate their homes and businesses to the next level.
In doing so, I draw on my years of experience from my previous career. I believe it’s also incredibly important in this field to first thoroughly understand, during an initial consultation, exactly what clients want and what they need to live their lives or run their businesses as effectively as possible. I then translate that into how their environment and interior design can contribute to that vision. I do this by devising the perfect layout, selecting beautiful materials and furniture, designing custom pieces and well-thought-out lighting plans, and providing art advice. In doing so, I take the pressure off my clients by fully overseeing the execution of my designs.
AI Training for Interior Design Professionals
As a relatively newinteriordesigner, I also quickly realized that the typical way interior designers work could be much more efficient, creative, and professional—not only for ourselves but also to serve our clients better and faster. That’s why, three years ago, I jumped right on the AI bandwagon, and since then, I’ve been developing and delivering AI training courses for interior designers and architects. Combining my craftsmanship as a designer with AI as a creative assistant allows me to carry out my work with tremendous passion.
